Crypto payments firm Ramp Network has expanded its cryptocurrency services in Brazil by integrating with the Brazilian Central Bank’s Pix system.
This move is part of Ramp’s strategy to grow in South America, where it recently launched its operations. Pix, introduced by the Central Bank of Brazil in 2021, is widely used by 200 million Brazilians for fast payments.
With this integration, Ramp aims to facilitate quick and convenient cryptocurrency purchases for Brazilians. Brazil has emerged as a hotspot for cryptocurrency activity, attracting major players like Coinbase and Bitget, both of which utilize Pix for payments.
Ramp Network’s integration with the Brazilian Central Bank’s Pix system reflects a strategic move to tap into Brazil’s growing cryptocurrency market.
