Google Cloud has become a part of the emerging blockchain industry by signing as a decentralized validator for Polygon PoS.
According to a post shared by Polygon, Google Cloud joined Polygon’s 100+ PoS validator set this month (September 2023). It uses the same infrastructure that powers YouTube and Gmail.
Polygon said that high-quality, and trusted security-minded validators, including Google Cloud, provide the network with an added layer of security for Heimdall, Bor, and Polygon PoS users.
The validator data shows that Google Cloud has a total stake of 10,451 MATIC It signed the first network checkpoint on September 7.
