Honda, the Japanese automobile giant, has partnered with the blockchain payment system FCF Pay to enable customers to purchase Honda products in crypto currencies instead of traditional fiat currencies.
A leading payment system, FCF Pay, has adopted major cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP, as well as meme coins like Shiba Inu, Dogecoin, and PepeCoin. A collaboration made by Honda is not just for enhancing the customer experience but is also forcing Japan toward the forefront of the Web3 industry.
Now, customers of Honda make payments using not only digital assets such as BTC, ETH, XRP, and BNB, but also stablecoins like USDT and USDC, and even meme coins like DOGE, SHIB, PEPE, and FLOKI.
In this first phase, the FCF pay is only available for US citizens, but it will expand to other countries in the future. As per FCF Pay, customers can expect a fee of $3 + 2% in cryptocurrency when making payments. Additionally, customers can pay for leasing and renting Honda cars or motorcycles using cryptocurrencies.
The partnership between Honda and FCF Pay, along with other notable collaborations, represents a significant step toward cryptocurrency adoption and blockchain integration.
