On October 18, Magic Eden, an NFT marketplace, will introduce tokenized digital collectibles with the debut of 100 Pokemon cards in association with Collector, built on Solana.
As per the tweet, the first drop, scheduled for October 18, is being led by the Solana-based company Collector and will feature 100 legendary Pokemon cards.
The highlights of revered cards such as ‘2000 Pokemon Gym Challenge 1st Edition Holo Blaine’s Charizard’, ‘2006 Pokemon Ex Crystal Guardians Holo Charizard’, ‘2007 Pokemon Ex Power Keepers, Gold Star No. 100 Flareon-Holo’, and ‘2018 Pokemon Japanese SM Promo | Munch: A Retrospective.’
Every card has a 100% physical backing to ensure authenticity and real-world value. Collectors can exchange their digital tokens for a real, tangible card. This method offers a distinctive collecting experience by fusing the worlds of digital and physical collectibles.
The “reveal lottery” element that NFT collectors are accustomed to will be added to the cards by their undisclosed minting.
