In a recent interview, Anthony Scaramucci, former White House Director of Communications and current managing partner of digital asset investment firm SkyBridge Capital, unveiled a compelling vision for the future of Bitcoin.Â
Scaramucci believes that the disruptive cryptocurrency could rise to a market capitalization of $15 trillion in the upcoming years.
Scaramucci affirmed that Bitcoin “in many ways is more valuable than gold” and could become a store of value.
During the interview, The ex-politician applauded the U.S. Federal Reserve’s performance but stressed that the system within which it operates is fundamentally broken.
He also underlined his concerns about fiat currency devaluation, noting the government spends 43 cents more than it generates in revenue.
Scaramucci warned that this is dangerous, as borrowed money must be repaid with dollars worth more than when borrowed, risking severe economic downturn. Therefore, he concluded that the Federal Reserve had found itself in a difficult position due to the flawed system.
As a solution, Scaramucci proposed an alternative in the form of an immutable asset with defined scarcity and transparent transaction ledger, characteristics that only Bitcoin currently exhibits.
He further highlights Bitcoin as the cryptocurrency with the potential to evolve into a store of value more valuable than gold.
Emphatically, Scaramucci projected Bitcoin reaching a $15 trillion market capitalization amid the broken U.S. financial system. He also discussed the challenges of fixing the system, arguing long-term planning is needed but lacking among American politicians.
He further drew a comparison between the United State and other countries like China, which have adopted strategic forward thinking towards economic planning
