Binance has posted on Twitter that crypto withdrawals on Binance are temporarily unavailable due to a technical issue.
Binance said, “We are experiencing a technical issue with crypto withdrawals.” Due to this, they are temporarily unavailable and their team is working to fix this issue. It further added that “Fiat withdrawals are available and working. All funds are SAFU.”
The last withdrawal from one of the exchange’s wallets was processed at 10:45 UTC, according to Etherscan; the update was issued eighteen minutes later.
CEO Changpeng “CZ” Zhao also tweeted, “Technical issue with a middleware service impacting withdrawals. Funds are SAFU [Secure Asset Fund for Users]. Our team is on it.”
After confirming that “all cryptocurrency withdrawals on Binance are now back to functioning as usual,” Binance has apologized for the inconvenience caused.
