Nokia showcased a metaverse-based intelligent factory management system at the 2023 India Mobile Congress in New Delhi, which is going on and will run till October 29.Â
A metaverse-based intelligent factory management system will use technologies that are still being developed, including Blockchain, decentralized networks, XR, AI and ML, and other cutting-edge technologies.
According to the company, the intelligent factory management system is designed to reduce errors and defects while increasing efficiency and interactivity in factory operations.
Among other things, the company demonstrated real-time extended reality multimedia technology, a 4G/LTE network on the Moon, a Rapid Rail NCRTC private wireless network, and radar-like sensing technology that uses 6G connectivity at the annual telecom technology forum.
The company unveiled a new 6g sensing technology that promises to give users “situational awareness” of their environment, enabling them to see what is around the corner or interact with objects remotely without having to physically touch them.
According to Nokia, the sensing technology senses people, objects, and their movements while also acting as a kind of radar and protecting user privacy.Â
Earlier the Crypto Times reported that the President and CEO of telecoms corporation Nokia, Pekka Lundmark, said that Nokia may arrive with 6G networks may arrive in the market around 2030 as the industrial metaverse expands in the tech industry.
