Crypto hardware wallet company, Trezor has reportedly suffered customer database breach with users receiving phishing emails with harmful links.
Blockchain security analyst, ZachXBT shared a latest investigation confirming that Trezor users are receiving phishing emails to the account they used to purchase wallet.
ZachXBT said that the potential data breach is either from Trezor or its UK-based shipping partner company Evri.
The incident came to limelight after a user shared a post on X (twitter) who received an email urging to update Trezor software. The email seems asserting to be the official Trezor team while containing malicious links leading to a phishing website.
Trezor has not officially shared any statement on the incident neither confirming a third party breach. ZachXBT clarified that there are no issues with Trezor wallet.
