The South Korean telecommunications company SK Telecom is teaming up with blockchain firms Aptos Labs and Atomrigs Lab to launch a new Web3 wallet service called T wallet.
This project, which aims to create a digital wallet for both cryptocurrencies and nonfungible tokens (NFTs), was initiated in July 2022.
At that time, SK Telecom’s blockchain division started collaborating with AhnLab Blockchain Company and Atomix Lab to develop and manage the Web3 wallet.
In its latest announcement, SKT has set its sights on strengthening its partnerships with popular blockchain networks and decentralized applications through a three-way agreement with blockchain companies.
SKT’s collaboration with Aptos, which is noteworthy for being their first integration with a blockchain that doesn’t use the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), is a clear demonstration of their dedication to providing a smooth and safe Web3 experience for their users.
In an official tweet, SKT has assured its commitment to ensuring that users have a seamless and secure experience with Web3.
This partnership will involve incorporating T-Wallet into Aptos’ DApp ecosystem and using its MoveVM blockchain technology.
