The cryptocurrency-based platform, Sorare, introduces fantasy football experience in the Premier League Winter Competition with $500,000 in cash rewards across 11 Game Weeks from November 25th to January 30th, including Boxing Day matches on December 26th.
Each Game Week presents its own opportunity to win prizes, with scores based on that week’s performance, not cumulative. Note that a few matches won’t be covered due to schedule changes.
In this competition, managers must build a five-player lineup within a 270-point cap based on a player’s last 15 average scores, with XP and Captain Bonuses applying. Only Premier League player scores count.
To participate, need a certain number of cards based on their rarity: Limited (4 cards), Rare (3 cards), Super Rare (3 cards), or Unique (2 cards). Managers can enter up to three lineups each Game Week, offering various strategies for winning rewards.
Sorare’s Premier League Winter Competition adds an exciting twist to fantasy football, but the requirement of rare cards may limit broader participation.
