Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has experienced several high-profile departures in recent months, most notably that of Jennifer Hicks, the company’s first anti-terrorism financial advisor.
According to her Linkedin profile, Hicks joined Binance in late 2021 as a Senior Manager of Intelligence and Investigation to help combat financial crimes, but resigned from her role just two months after her promotion as the CTF Advisor.
However, her exit follows that of other top Binance executives, including the heads of product, chief business officer, general counsel, and head of the Asia-Pacific region.
Most recently, Stéphanie Cabossioras, Managing Director of Binance’s French entity, has also departed the company. Cabossioras was a key figure in Binance’s plans to establish a headquarters in Paris to expand its European presence.
