The CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao ‘CZ’, had his Twitter account temporarily restricted, following his resignation from his position and guilty plea to violating criminal U.S. anti-money-laundering statutes.
On November 21, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) declared that Binance and its creator, Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, faced criminal charges. A day later, CZ issued an internal letter confirming both his departure and the Justice Department’s indictment of the Binance employees.
