Google Cloud has joined the gaming-focused blockchain network XPLA as a validator to foster the growth of the Web3 gaming ecosystem.
According to the official announcement from XPLA, Google Cloud will join the XPLA ecosystem as a volunteer validator. The collaboration is aimed at fortifying the security of the XPLA network while adding value to the web3 industry on a large scale.
“This collaboration with Google Cloud is aimed at fortifying the security of XPLA and advancing our vision of building a gaming universe with immersive experiences,” said the official announcement.
Paul Kim, the CEO of XPLA, believes that the partnership with Google Cloud will help his company secure advanced technology. “Through this collaboration, XPLA can secure advanced IT technology and insights into future industries,” he said.
XPLA is a layer 1 blockchain focused on digital content and blockchain gaming. It was developed by the South Korean game development company, Com2uS.
Google Cloud has recently increased its efforts to support the Web3 ecosystem by joining several blockchain networks as a validator, including Polygon (PoS), Celo, and Tezos. Google Cloud has also developed customized solutions and called for blockchain startups to utilize its solutions.
