Sauber, a Formula 1 team, entered into a two-year partnership with the crypto casino and sports betting firm Stake, which secured a naming right to Sauber’s F1 car.
As a result, the team, previously identified as Alfa Romeo, will now operate under the name “Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber.”
This racing squad features drivers Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu. Alessandro Alunni Bravi, the team’s representative, highlighted that this collaboration extends Stake’s prior engagement with Formula 1, signaling a promising evolution for both entities.
Recently, the Formula 1 arena has become a hotspot for blockchain and cryptocurrency enterprises seeking sponsorship opportunities. Notable firms like Tezos, OKX, Binance, OpenSea, Honda, and ByBit have been actively involved.
In September, automobile company Honda partnered with Animoca Brands to provide Formula 1 fans with exciting digital experiences during Tokyo and Suzuka events.
