The leadership team of Yuga Labs is looking ahead to an amazing 2024 and reflecting on a wild 2023 before the members of the Bored Ape Yacht Club head out to ring in the new year this evening.
They are also thanking their fellow primates, Doggos, HVs, Punks, Meebs, and Voyagers, for another dull year of memories in the Yugaverse.
It’s safe to say that even during an extended bear market, things are anything but boring around the swamp, with real-life events like Fuck It Friday and ApeFest Hong Kong, and online games like Dookey Dash, HV-MTL Forge, second trip, and Legends of The Mara.
Chad Calcagno, the vice president of brand production of the company, tweeted, “Kinda nuts how much actually but still ending the year feeling a bit low because I know we have to much ahead of us in 2024. Proud to work with so many talented and kind folks. Excited to see where 2024 takes us.”
According to Calcagno, there will be an insane 2024. This is similar to what the Creative Director of Yuga Labs, Jeff Nicholas, recently said regarding the company’s intention to unite the community and provide an explanation for why the Boresome Apes are in a Yacht Club in the first place.
On December 27, Nicholas tweeted, “I do a lot of thinking about the varied reasons for “why” apes are in the club.”
