Fidelity’s retail trading app recently displayed tickers for spot Bitcoin ETFs, including the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB), before the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) gave its approval. However, trading in these ETFs is not yet available.
Bloomberg has also listed 11 Bitcoin (BTC) ETFs on its terminal. These are currently classified under pending listing, indicating an anticipation of market debut. The Chicago Board Options Exchange has also been proactive in this domain.
They filed a request with the SEC on behalf of Invesco Galaxy, and this request aims to facilitate seeking permission to list and trade simultaneously with other issuers like ARK 21Shares and BlackRock.
