Binance reportedly introduces two alternative URLs for Indian crypto enthusiasts amidst a stringent clampdown by Indian authorities.
Keyur Rohit, a prominent crypto influencer, brought these new URLs to light on X. According to Rohit, Binance Verify has authenticated these links.
However, users must tread with caution. While a Binance customer representative seemingly confirmed the legitimacy of changing ‘com’ to ‘me’ or ‘info,’ verifying these claims is crucial.
The Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) of India’s Ministry of Finance had previously targeted several exchanges, including Binance, for operating without proper licenses and potential anti-money laundering lapses.
Besides these updates, users must prioritize staying updated and verifying the legitimacy of any platform. Given the current instability in India’s cryptocurrency environment, exercising caution and seeking reliable information is crucial for anyone navigating this space.
