Binance has revealed that Steve Christie would return as Deputy Chief Compliance Officer (DCCO) on the back of the exchange’s announcement.
Christie, former Senior VP of Compliance, will work in tandem with CCO Noah Perlman to strengthen Binance’s global compliance program and create new leadership positions in the emerging crypto world.
Christie resumes his role at Binance after a short leave that he reportedly took for personal reasons made more and more amazed by the results of the company in compliance. His efforts will be aimed at cooperation with regulators, industry associations, and business leaders on the topic of improving protection for users and implementing best practices.
If this is the case, Christie wrote, “I am not only enthusiastic about the organization’s commitment to being compliance-first, but over and above establishing the benchmark for the whole industry with respect to compliance.”
As an appreciation, Perlman pointed at Christie’s knowledge and leadership skills, indicating how he managed to contribute to Binance’s rise in compliance during his previous tenure.
The fact that Binance will continue to push for the highest regulative standards and ensure comprehensive innovation in the crypto landscape.
