OKX Wallet has integrated with the Bitcoin Name Service System (BNSx) protocol. This groundbreaking integration allows OKX Wallet users to register and utilize simple, human-readable .bnsx domain names instead of the complex Bitcoin addresses typically required.
BNSx is a decentralized naming protocol built on top of the Bitcoin and Lightning networks, enabling users to map easy-to-remember domain names to their Bitcoin addresses. By leveraging RGB smart contracts and the Lightning Network, BNSx facilitates fast, inexpensive, and private transactions with registered names.
With this integration, OKX Wallet users can now register .bnsx domains within the app and automatically link them to their wallet’s Bitcoin receive addresses. Any Bitcoin sent to a registered .bnsx name will be automatically received by the owner’s linked OKX Wallet.
Additionally, users can send Bitcoin to other .bnsx names, with the recipient’s domain mapped to their Bitcoin address, streamlining the entire process.
