Human Institute in collaboration with Polygon Labs and Animoca Brands is introducing an innovative “proof of humanity” protocol based on unique palm scanning technology. A new zero-knowledge- proof, Ethereum Virtual Machine (zKEVM) blockchain, is developed by making sure that the identity of users is verified without taking burdensome approaches like iris scans.
This new technology of human verification is similar to that of Sam Altman’s Worldcoin (WLD). The only difference is that for this is the human palm that is being scanned unlike worldcoin where it uses human iris for verification.
Yat Siu, co-founder of Animoca Brands, highlights the user-centric approach: “Currently available identifiers for Proof-of-Personhood may infringe our privacy. Humanity Protocol seeks to construct a decentralized ecosystem dispatching power and enhancing equality and inclusion”.
The goal of this collaboration is to develop a suite of web3 solutions including on-chain gaming, dESO platforms, DeFi solutions, DAO, RWA and DePIN systems. The testnet release of the protocol will be in a short time.
