Opensea, one of the most popular NFT online marketplaces, faced a time when sales of NFT had decreased significantly in February.
The information reveals that the NFT figure of 33% of the February total is the lowest since May last year, having sold 199,000 on the OpenSea as confirmed by Dune Analytics dashboard.
The inventory platform saw an 18% drop in January. This decline corresponded with a decrease in active users. Only 103,000 users made at least one sale in February.
Despite a reduction in sales, the sales volume has made remarkable progress as it records a 5 % rise to $153.03 million, an indication of a two-month-high. This, therefore, marked an increase in both the platform fees and Royalties fees of 3%.
On the other hand, NFT aggregator and marketplace Blur experienced a 16% drop in February. NFTGo statistical data reports that the market cap is $11.4 billion, this translates to a 36% increase
