Daehong Communications, an advertising firm based in South Korea and a subsidiary of Lotte Group, has joined hands with Aptos Foundation to embark on a strategic global expansion powered by Web3 technology.
This collaboration between Daehong and Aptos signifies the beginning of establishing a Web3 hub for Lotte, a vast South Korean conglomerate overseeing approximately 90 business entities.
In an announcement, Daehong outlined its intentions to introduce various initiatives within Lotte Group’s Web3 hub, including loyalty programs, projects featuring NFT-based profile pictures, and entertainment ventures.
Daehong has laid the foundation for forthcoming NFT ventures and applications across various subsidiaries of Lotte Group. Future Web3 endeavors will encompass loyalty programs to enhance fan involvement and novel payment solutions aimed at safeguarding collectibles and eliminating counterfeit tickets.
Furthermore, Daehong aims to amplify the value of Web3 endeavors through global expansion, commencing with a collaborative ecosystem venture between NFT and digital collectible entities BellyGom and the South Korean national football B team, Baeho Eleven.
In this initiative, selected BellyGom NFTs will be migrated to Aptos, enabling users to reap rewards from the project via the Aptos mainnet.
Customers can utilize their rewards to buy items offered on Aptos, with the blockchain supporting Baekho Eleven’s official loyalty program for the Qatar Asian Cup.
