According to the report from Deadline, Amazon MGM Studios has signed Chloë Grace Moretz, Lewis Pullman, and Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose for their upcoming film “Dutch & Razzlekhan.”A movie is being made about Heather “Razzlekhan” Morgan and Ilya “Dutch” Lichtenstein, who got arrested in February 2022 for money laundering.
The movie tells the story of a couple who are accused of laundering a huge amount of Bitcoin—119,754 tokens—which was worth over $8 billion when it happened. These tokens were reportedly obtained through a hack on the crypto exchange Bitfinex in 2016.
Despite Morgan’s aspirations as a rapper, her rhymes failed to propel her to fame, but her criminal records are the source of attention.
Under the direction of BAFTA nominee Jon S. Baird, the production is set to commence filming this summer. The casting of these renowned actors signals the studio’s commitment to bringing this interesting tale to the big screen.
