Ghostface Killah, of Wu-Tang Clan fame, teams up with Ordinals Bot, Rare Scrilla, and NakaPepes for a groundbreaking venture into cryptocurrency with the launch of ‘Bitcoin Ordinals’, featuring an exclusive collection of music.
This innovative release involves minting 10,000 unique pieces of music on the Bitcoin blockchain, granting holders Creative Commons Zero (CC0) rights.
This essentially means relinquishing copyright control, allowing for free use and modification of the music. Ghostface’s foray into crypto traces back to his 2017 endeavor with Cream Capital, an ICO project aiming to raise $30 million.
Ordinals, akin to NFTs but utilizing the Bitcoin blockchain and Bitcoin as the minting token, represent a novel approach to digital ownership. With just 1,290 audio files inscribed to Bitcoin currently, Ghostface’s Bitcoin Ordinals promises to be a rare and intriguing addition to the crypto space.
