On Tuesday, Aptos’s native token surged more than 15%, reaching a new record high.
According to CoinGecko, the APT token was trading at $18.90 at the time of writing. This Tuesday’s price is the highest that APT has traded since reaching its previous high in January 2023.
This year, Aptos Labs, the organization driving the creation of blockchain-based goods and applications, announced a plethora of new projects. It decommissioned the old method of requiring password setup for users to sign transactions on its network last month.
Then, earlier this month, Aptos Labs declared that it was collaborating with Google Cloud to improve “live service game offerings, to the global gaming community, with Web3 capabilities.”
Former Meta executives founded the Aptos blockchain. The Layer 1 blockchain unlocked 24.8 million APT tokens, valued at more than $200 million at the end of the previous year.
