A Cosmos-based Layer 1 blockchain, Injective (INJ) has rolled out its Ionic Upgrade to the Injective Bridge, boosting its interoperability across various networks. This upgrade promises an enhanced user experience with minimal or no fees.
With the Ionic upgrade, users can easily navigate between blockchains like Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and Cosmos (ATOM), and transfer core assets to specified addresses for increased flexibility.
Injective has established itself as a leader in interoperability, evident from its recent developments like the inEVM Layer 2 rollup solution on the mainnet. This solution empowers Ethereum developers to create cost-effective and fast Decentralized Applications (DApps).
The protocol’s consistent development includes the earlier Volan mainnet upgrade for Real-World Assets (RWAs) integration and expanded Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) with other chains in the Cosmos ecosystem.
The Ionic Upgrade leverages the IBC protocol and Wormhole2.0 to bridge new assets, reinforcing Injective’s role as a core hub for the financial ecosystem. This update has already driven a 4.75% increase in INJ token price to $39.78 amid market volatility.
Injective’s commitment to innovation continues to reshape blockchain interoperability, marking a significant step towards a more connected and accessible digital asset landscape.
