One leading Turkish investment bank firm, Misyon has joined forces with Swiss Crypto custodian by the name Taurus.Misyon aims to offer digital asset custody and other tokenization services.This collaboration positions Turkey as a hub for innovation in digital assets.
Lamine Brahimi, Taurus co-founder also expressed thoughts concerning the partnership in this statement:
“We have been impressed by Misyon and MisyonTech team of experts, and we are confident that through this significant collaboration, Turkey could establish a prominent position within the region in digital asset custody and tokenization.”
Taurus’s technology will be utilized by MisyonTech, a unit of Misyon Bank, to offer these services. A custody platform, a tokenization tool, and blockchain node infrastructure are some of Taurus’s offerings. Large European banks like Credit Suisse, which invests in Taurus, employ these solutions.
Misyon Bank’s CEO, Önder Halisdemir, has great hopes and he strongly believes that this partnership is a key step in making Turkey a leader in digital asset services.
“With this collaboration, Turkish assets will be made accessible to investors worldwide through tokenization.” He stated.
Tokenization, a process that converts physical assets into digital tokens, will allow global investors to access Turkish assets. Istanbul Technical University and KPMG will collaborate on designing solutions for digital assets.
The regulatory framework for digital asset custody services in Turkey is nearing completion. Misyon Bank and Taurus believe this partnership will make Turkey a center for digital asset custody and tokenization.
