MyShell, a web3 AI platform catering to creators, has successfully raised $11 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Dragonfly. Other investors in the round include Delphi Ventures, Bankless Ventures, Maven11 Capital, Nascent, Nomad Capital, and OKX Ventures.
Additionally, notable angel investors such as former Coinbase CTO Balaji Srinivasan and NEAR Protocol co-founder Illia Polosukhin participated in the funding.
Empowering Creators with AI Agents
MyShell allows creators to generate AI agents or bots, enhancing their capabilities in content creation and engagement. The platform’s innovative approach aims to revolutionize the way creators interact with their audience in the web3 space.
CEO Ethan Sun revealed that the funding round, initiated in November and closed last month, was structured as equity with token warrants, similar to the seed round. While the latest valuation remains undisclosed, MyShell was valued at $57 million during its seed funding round last October.
With the fresh capital infusion, MyShell is poised to accelerate its growth trajectory and further develop its platform to meet the evolving needs of creators in the web3 landscape. The partnership with Dragonfly and other prominent investors signifies confidence in MyShell’s vision and potential to shape the future of AI-powered content creation.
