The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has created as a part of its strategy a group called the Artificial Intelligence Safety and Security Board. The US President, Joseph Biden, proposed this initiative to figure out how to safely use AI systems in national critical infrastructure.
The board will submit its suggestions to the DHS Secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas, and advocate for concerned parties in improving AI security. The new board has a representation of the top-level officials from Microsoft, AMD, and NVIDIA as well as from the government and academic circles. The team will work closely together, focusing on crafting strategies to help restore the security of critical services such as energy, transportation, and communication networks.
Strategic Implementation of the SEO Campaign will be based on the analysis of the current situation and the assessment of the campaign areas. DHS intends to determine whether AI threats are effectively addressed proactively by considering all sides of the problem, like possible cyber attacks on U.S. infrastructure.
The board will meet quarterly from the beginning of May to track the progress and come up with strategies to ensure that AI will not only be a supporter of safe sites but also help with safety.
