Binance has announced the integration of ARC-20 tokens into its Inscriptions Marketplace, allowing regular users to join the cutting-edge Bitcoin tokenization.Â
ARC-20 is a new token standard that enables the creation of fungible (interchangeable) tokens that can be held and transferred directly on the Bitcoin blockchain. This is made possible by the Atomicals Protocol which utilizes Bitcoin’s native satoshis and transaction tracking system.
To drive adoption, Binance is running a promotion offering zero trading fees on all ARC-20 tokens until June 2, 2024. Users can access these tokens by navigating to the Inscriptions section of the Web3 Wallet.
Furthermore, Binance has also expanded the Web3 Wallet’s network integrations, adding support for several blockchain technologies, including B² Network, Base, BEVM, Blast, Linea, Solana, Sui, Tron, and zkLink Nova.
In total, the exchange now has nine new network integrations to expand the Web3 Wallet’s multi-chain functionality.
To improve user experience, Binance has also redesigned the Discover page to make it easier to explore Web3 trends, dapps, airdrops. Plus, 35 new dapps were integrated to open up the decentralized web.
