Binance introduced the service in Kazakhstan, to spread in Central Asia. The British Standards Institution (BSI) did the evaluation and reported that Binance complied with high standards in information security and privacy management.
The certifications underscore Binance’s dedication to security governance and the protection of user data. BSI’s acknowledgment verifies Binance’s effective practices in safeguarding user assets and personal information within the region.
Vishal Sacheendran, Head of Regional Markets at Binance, stated, “Setting high benchmarks for information security and privacy processes is a hallmark of a trustworthy, reliable firm. By securing these internationally recognized certifications at Binance Kazakhstan, we validate that we meet these high standards. We hope that our users will feel significantly reassured knowing their assets and personal information are protected in line with the latest global standards.”
Last year, Binance also secured similar certifications in France, Bahrain, and the UAE. The audits conducted by A-LIGN confirmed Binance’s robust security measures, which continue to set industry standards for information safety.
With the launch of services in Kazakhstan, Binance has further expanded its footprint in Central Asia. The collaboration with local banks to enable fiat transactions enhances user accessibility and trust in the platform’s security measures.
