Entangle, a data infrastructure layer enabling interoperability, has announced the successful launch of its Mainnet following two years of development and extensive testing on its testnet. This milestone solidifies Entangle’s position as a significant player in the omnichain sector, offering innovative solutions for seamless interoperability.
The Mainnet launch comprises several essential elements, including the Entangle Blockchain, Entangle Explorer, Photon Messaging, Validators, Delegation, and e-Bridge.
The architecture of the Entangle Blockchain is meticulously crafted with a layered structure: the Application Layer, the Modules Layer, and the Tendermint Consensus Layer.
With an average block time of less than 2.8 seconds, the Entangle Blockchain demonstrates high efficiency. The Photon Messaging feature extends the platform’s capabilities, facilitating omnichain development across 16 EVM and non-EVM blockchains, including Solana.
Following the Mainnet launch, holders of NGL tokens can now stake their tokens to secure the blockchain, earn rewards, and take advantage of upcoming promotions within the Entangle Ecosystem.
Staking involves delegating tokens to Entangle validators and the agent network, which is crucial for securing the Photon Messaging system. Staking means giving NGL to validators or transmitter agents who use nodes to check and approve new transactions, adding them to the blockchain. This helps keep the blockchain safe and trustworthy.
Currently, 71 validators, including market leaders like Hashkey Cloud, Rhino, Nodefi, and DaiC, are active, with more expected to join. Entangle’s plans include onboarding agents who will accept delegations and stakes from users.
Around 25 million NGL tokens have already been staked or delegated to validators, highlighting confidence in Entangle’s potential. Users can visit the Entangle Explorer to select a validator or transmitter agent for token delegation.
