Oasys, a blockchain network specializing in gaming, is partnering with SBINFT Market, an NFT marketplace under SBI Group, a prominent financial entity in Japan, to enhance the cryptocurrency gaming landscape in Japan.
With notable attention from gaming industry giants like Ubisoft, Bandai Namco, and Sega, Oasys is now focused on broadening the blockchain gaming market in Japan.
SBINFT Market has integrated assets from Oasys’ Hub-Layer (layer-1) and MCH Verse (layer-2) blockchains, along with their initial integration with Oasys’ HOME Verse. This means developers using Oasys can sell their NFTs through the SBINFT Market, provided they are approved.
According to Oasys Director Daiki Moriyama, “SBINFT Market’s support for Oasys’ Hub-Layer and MCH Verse significantly enhances our ecosystem, providing users and developers with broader opportunities for monetization and engagement within the blockchain gaming space.”
Only NFTs from authorized artists and Oasys-affiliated providers can be listed on the SBINFT Market. Launched in 2021, SBINFT Market covers various tokenized assets like digital art, music, in-game items, and event tickets, and it allows transactions using both cryptocurrencies and credit cards. It also supports NFTs on Ethereum and Polygon.
Key projects on Oasys include the upcoming game Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles from Ubisoft, known for the Assassin’s Creed franchise, and Oasys’ own OASYX NFT collection.
