The Layer-2 blockchain solution, Shibarium’s network TVL increased by 17%, and the Bone ShibaSwap token’s trading volume surged by 15% following improvements to the Shibarium bridge, reducing BONE transfer times.
Previously, users faced a seven-day wait to transfer BONE tokens from Shibarium to Ethereum. This delay, aimed at encouraging interaction with Shibarium’s Layer 2 solution, has now been cut to just 45 minutes.
The Shiba Inu development team announced on TheShibDaily that Shibarium’s commitment to technological advancement and user experience is expected to boost BONE’s value by enhancing efficiency and stability.
Shibarium, said, “The upgrade will be much quicker, allowing you to move your BONE tokens faster, with greater agility, making your experience in the Shibarium ecosystem even smoother.”
With these improvements, participants can expect smoother processes and increased convenience within the ecosystem, while project builders gain flexibility in creating applications on the L2 chain.
As a result, The Shibarium network’s TVL surged by 17% in five days to $2.47 million, while BONE’s price rose by nearly 2% in 24 hours, trading at $0.6865, driven by increased trading volume.
The Shibarium bridge enhancements, slashing BONE token transfer time and boosting TVL and trading volume, signify a pivotal stride toward efficiency and value creation in the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
