Suno AI has launched an ambitious effort that will award $1 million in prizes throughout 2024 with the goal of rewarding musicians in the event called the Summer of Suno, which kicks off tomorrow, Saturday, 1 June.
The top 500 songs created with Suno in June will split the first $100,000 of the prize money in the first volume of the Summer of Suno.
Participants must create songs between June 1, 2024, and June 30, 2024. After the participants create the song, they have to share it on social media platforms by mentioning Suno AI. Each creator can be submitted for consideration in the program’s VOL-1.
As per the announcement, a combination of plays, likes, and shares will be used to calculate the song rank. A $10,000 award will be given to the best creator, and other top creators will also receive sizeable compensation.
With the release of its initial product eight months ago, Suno AI has made it possible for over 12 million customers to turn basic thoughts into music. By encouraging artists to distribute their music and connect with new audiences, the program aims to expand on this success.
