Solnarize, a meme project based on Solana Blockchain, raises $350,000 for seed investment ahead of Solar Defender, the first P2E game that promotes sustainability and clean energy within the Solana ecosystem. The utility token of the project $SRIZE is created to bring together elements of meme culture and an environmentally friendly approach.
Seed funding by Sunivations Ventures with support from other investors interested in energy solutions. Andzo Xemberzi, the team leader at Solnarize, announced that the funding will improve the Solar Defender, set to launch this month.
Solar Defender is a P2E game that introduces players to an environment where they must defend the solar city. The “$SRIZE tokens” are given as rewards to the players as they progress through the level. However, the $PRIZE token is used as a payment method for the project. Solarize aims to build a community that values financial growth.
In May, developers released about $ 500,000 tokens on the Solana blockchain, with most being meme coins. The ease of token creation on Solana, to platforms like Pump.fun, has contributed to this surge in memecoin development. This includes meme coins such as Dogwifhat and Bonk as well as the political tokens Jeo Boden and Doland Trump.
The speeds, and fees, make it experimental projects. Companies and brands including Bitpay, Uphold, Shopify, Bankera, Kraken, Gnosis, Augur, SingularDTV, and Funfair are also known to have adopted Solana to issue tokens by celebrities like Caitlyn Jenner and Iggy Azalea. Unlike traditional meme coins focused solely on speculative gains, Solnarize prioritizes sustainability and community impact.
