Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has expressed disappointment over the absence of a working relationship with Tesla CEO Elon Musk, despite shared interests and multiple attempts at collaboration. Hoskinson discussed potential areas where Cardano and Musk’s ventures could collaborate
Hoskinson noted that both share mutual relationships, including Lex Fridman and Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum. In an interview with Tony Edward of Thinking Crypto, Hoskinson revealed that there has been no response from the Tesla CEO regarding potential collaborations, despite his efforts to reach out.
The Cardano founder suggested that Musk may have been influenced by individuals within his social circle who hold negative views of him or may simply prefer to pursue his own projects independently. Hoskinson praised Musk for his business skills, especially in running X, a social media platform.
Hoskinson said he’s open to teaming up with Musk to boost cryptocurrency use on the X platform, stressing its role as a major social media hub with millions of users.
In a recent report, Hoskinson announced a significant milestone for the Cardano Node set to reach version 9.0 in June, paving the way for the “Chang fork” upgrade. This upgrade is expected to trigger a hard fork 70% of Stake Pool Operators (SPOs) have installed the new node.
