The blockchain messaging protocol developer LayerZero Labs will airdrop ZRO token to qualified users tomorrow. The total supply of ZRO tokens is 1 billion.
In a tweet on X, LayerZero Labs CEO Bryan Pellegrino shared his calculations for the ZRO token airdrop. A substantial 23.8% of the total supply is given directly to the community and builders, separate from the foundation and growth allocations.
On day one, 8.5% of the this will be distributed, including 5% to core contributors, 3% for the requests for proposals (RFP), and 0.5% to the community pool. LayerZero Labs CEO Bryan Pellegrino said a total of 1.28 million wallets are eligible.
The majority of the remaining supply will be distributed over the next 36 months, with additional retroactive distributions every 12 months. Forward-looking RFPs will also be part of this phased distribution to continuously support builders and foster ongoing development within the LayerZero ecosystem.
LayerZero Labs has launched an eligibility checker for users who want to participate in the airdrop. The airdrop consists of two 5-minute windows for participants who responded to the requests for proposals (RFP) and a 25-minute window for core participants with up to 5K tokens.
Users have to access the official page of LayerZero airdrop to claim $ZRO tokens from the LayerZero airdrop. Then user has to Connect the active crypto wallet by selecting “Connect Wallet” and choosing from the list provided.
