Blockchain investigator ZachXBT has been awarded $150,000 by Arkham Intelligence for identifying the creator of the Solana-based DJT token. The reward follows Arkham’s offer of a bounty to uncover the identity behind the token themed after former President Donald Trump.
ZachXBT revealed in an X post that he had submitted his findings to Arkham, which included over 1,000 pieces of evidence linking Martin Shkreli and Barron Trump to the DJT token.
Key Events Leading to Shkreli’s Admission
Earlier today, Arkham announced a $150,000 bounty for identifying the DJT token creator. At 11:49 pm UTC, ZachXBT responded to Arkham, submitting his findings. Shortly after, at 11:57 pm UTC, Shkreli sent a panicked direct message to ZachXBT. By 12:27 am UTC, Shkreli held a live session on X Spaces, announcing his role in creating DJT.
ZachXBT’s investigation included blockchain transaction data showing a significant DJT holder, identified as verso.sol, sold $832,000 worth of DJT and converted it to USDC. This wallet also held tokens from Shkreli’s other project, Shoggoth.ai, strengthening the connection.
Additional Involvement and Evidence
Another key figure, identified as CWR, was the admin of the DJT token’s Telegram group. CWR, who uses the username ‘cameronrox’ on Discord, has been highly active in Shkreli’s public Discord server, with over 1,000 messages.
He has mentioned attending school with Barron Trump, but their actual relationship remains unclear. CWR exited both the Telegram group and Discord server last night, leaving behind a trail of messages for further investigation.
ZachXBT’s findings and Shkreli’s admission have brought significant attention to the DJT token. The investigation into other potential collaborators continues, with Arkham’s reward marking a pivotal moment in uncovering the token’s origins.
