Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has announced a major partnership with Spanish football club Atletico Madrid, becoming one of the team’s official sponsors for the 2024 season. As part of the agreement, Kraken will be the official crypto and Web3.0 partner for Atletico Madrid. Additionally, Kraken will become the Official Sleeve Partner for both the men’s and women’s football shirts, giving the exchange significant visibility during matches and events.

“Together, we are advancing crypto adoption both on and off the pitch. Starting from the 2024/25 season, our logo will proudly appear on the sleeves of Atletico Madrid’s playing kits,” Kraken announced on social media.
Industry experts predict Kraken to see a substantial expansion of its customer base in the coming months, possibly due to this partnership with Atletico Madrid. Recently, more and more digital asset firms have started partnering with sports teams as they aim to broaden their presence and gain more visibility.
This development follows a similar move earlier this month when BingX became Chelsea’s Official Sleeve Partner for men’s playing kits, marking BingX’s first venture into sports and entertainment sponsorship.
