Despite a daring assassination attempt that left him bleeding, former U.S. President Donald Trump has remained firm on his commitment to attend the upcoming Bitcoin 2024 Nashville event as chief speaker.
The organizers of three day Bitcoin 2024 Nashville event took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that Trump will indeed address crypto lovers in person at the Music City Centre venue in Nashville.
David Bailey, CEO of Bitcoin Magazine and a crypto advisor to Trump, affirmed that the candidate remains upbeat and prepared to deliver his speech in Nashville.
The event will be organized from July 25 to July 27 where crypto enthusiasts and key industry leaders from all across the world are expected to attend. Along with Trump, the event will also see important speakers like whistleblower Edward Snowden, comedian Russell Brand, independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Junior and tech and finance moguls like Cathie Wood, Michael Saylor and Bill Maher IV.
Trump will be eyeing this opportunity to bolster his support among the crypto enthusiasts who hold significant sway in the upcoming U.S. presidential elections scheduled later this year. Of late, Trump has emerged as a fierce advocate of cryptocurrencies and has accused the Biden government of waging a “war on crypto”.
The assassination attempt on Trump during an election rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday sent shockwaves across the world as several leaders condemned the attack. The attempt left two people, including the alleged shooter dead, even as Trump was left bleeding from his ear.
In the backdrop of this attack, Trump’s decision to attend the upcoming Bitcoin 2024 Nashville event will definitely win him support from the crypto community, ahead of the polls.
