This integration allows Indian users to purchase tokens within the Telegram app using UPI, a popular local payment method. This move aims to simplify and enhance the accessibility of crypto transactions for users in India.
Here are steps for how to Buy Crypto Using OnMeta on Telegram Wallet.
- Open Your Telegram Wallet: Access the wallet within the Telegram app.
- Add Crypto: Click on the option to add crypto.
- Select Token and Currency: Choose the token to purchase and select INR as the currency.
- Enter the Amount: Specify the amount of crypto to buy.
- Proceed with OnMeta: Opt for OnMeta as the payment method.
- Select UPI ID: Copy OnMeta’s UPI ID provided.
- Make the Payment:
- Open a UPI application (e.g., Google Pay, PhonePe).
- Paste the copied UPI ID into the payment field.
- Verify the payment is directed to “Abibha Tech.”
- Enter the same amount as specified.
- Complete the payment.
- Copy UTR: Copy the Unique Transaction Reference (UTR) code.
- Paste UTR in Telegram Wallet: Return to the Telegram wallet and paste the copied UTR.
- Wait for Token Transfer: Return to the Telegram wallet and paste the copied UTR.
