The TON ecosystem’s non-custodial wallet, Tonkeeper, has announced the addition of support for the HMSTR token, which is associated with the popular Telegram-based web3 game Hamster Kombat.
This integration will enable users to pay TON transaction fees using HMSTR through Tonkeeper’s Battery feature. Assitnationallu, Users can charge their Tonkeeper Battery with just one tap using their bank card in the Tonkeeper app, facilitating seamless $HMSTR transfers.
Daniel Cawrey, Chief Strategy Officer of Tonkeeper, explained that the Battery feature helps users manage transactions easily, especially those getting HMSTR tokens from airdrops without TON. Users can add cryptocurrency to their Tonkeeper Battery through the TON network, the Apple App Store, and Google Play Store.
This feature, mainly used by Android users, will officially launch on October 1, after reducing HMSTR airdrop amounts.
As of September 25, Tonkeeper boasts impressive usage statistics, with 34 million monthly active users and 8 million daily active users.
Meanwhile, Hamster Kombat, which has attracted 300 million users since its launch, challenges players to operate a cryptocurrency exchange by tapping images of hamsters to earn digital currency.
$HMSTR token is now available on major crypto exchanges, including Binance, Hashkey Global, OKX, Bitfinex, and Bybit. The airdrop of 300 billion tokens has also commenced, with 131 million players selected to receive $HMSTR token rewards.
