MemeFi is working with Mysten Labs to bring the Sui blockchain’s features to launch its token in November. By using Sui’s Layer 1 blockchain, MemeFi will integrate Sui’s Move programming language, designed for secure and efficient transactions.
Following a recent network shift, the MEMEFI token launch is now set for November 12 with an on-chain claim event. Originally scheduled for October 9, the debut was postponed due to internal adjustments.
MemeFi will conduct a final snapshot of player activity on November 6 to finalize token distribution for the airdrop, with the finalized allocations to be announced on November 8. In the meantime, players can “pre-check” their expected allocation through OKX Wallet using preliminary data.
In addition, this partnership allows MemeFi to introduce on-chain tools gradually, keep users engaged after launch, and provide extra incentives to its community. Mysten Labs will also assist MemeFi with marketing efforts and lend product expertise to the project.
MemeFi described Sui’s technology as “a tech miracle offering cheap and fast transactions with unlimited scalability.”
The integration will also bring exciting updates like airdrop campaigns and new in-app features, creating a smooth experience for MemeFi’s large user base of 60 million players and 21 million Telegram followers.
In other news, MemeFi’s $MEMEFI token is now available for pre-market trading on OKX, giving the community early access ahead of the official Token Generation Event (TGE).
This is coming short after MemeFi partnered with Binance on Oct. 7 to launch a $150,000 prize pool featuring luxury rewards including 4 Franck Muller watch brands and 20 iPhone 16 Pro Max phones for its community.
By listing $MEMEFI on multiple exchanges, MemeFi aims to give users an early trading experience before the full market release.
