As the value of Bitcoin skyrocketed to $89,000 in the past one week amid Donald Trump’s victory in the recently held U.S. presidential elections, data from google analytics shows that people have searched Bitcoin ten times more than US Dollar in the past one month.
According to data from Google Analytics, “Bit Coin” search on Google and other popular search engines averaged between 1 million to 10 million for the past 30 days while search for “US Dollar” amounted to an average of just 100,000 to 1 million.
The interest around BTC had peaked on November 5 when Donald Trump had won U.S. presidential elections against Kamala Harris. According to Google Analytics data, from November 5, there was an exponential surge in Bitcoin searches on internet followed by a slight downfall on November 9 and again rapid rise by November 10 and 11.
The value of Bitcoin has surged throughout the weekend, reaching an all time high of $89,000 two days ago. The surge in BTC value was largely credited to the victory of Donald Trump in U.S. elections and his aggressive support for Bitcoin during election campaign.
According to Google Analytics data, the average monthly search of people on google about US Dollar is 100K – 1M. Whereas the average monthly search of people about bitcoin is 1M – 10M, which is 10 times more than US Dollar.
When it comes to last week’s performance, the query around US Dollar had peaked on November 5 with Trump’s win, however, it fell sharply after three days.
