Ethereum co-founder Jeffrey Wilcke has moved 20,000 ETH, valued at approximately $72.5 million, to the Kraken cryptocurrency exchange.
The transfer occurred shortly after Ethereum hit a high of $3,600 earlier today, according to data from Arkham Intelligence.
This marks Wilcke’s fourth transfer in 2024, totaling 44,300 ETH worth about $148 million, with an average sale price of roughly $3,342 per ETH. Despite the reduction in his holdings, Wilcke still owns around 106,000 ETH, valued at approximately $382 million at current market prices.
According to CoinGecko data, Ethereum surged toward $3,700 early Thursday, but the momentum slowed, resulting in a slight pullback. It is currently priced at $3,566, reflecting only 1% increase in the past 24 hours.
