OpenAI has announced a new premium subscription service with ‘ChatGPT Pro’ for users who want to explore advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities. Priced at $200 per month (approximately ₹17,000), ChatGPT Pro will provide absolute access to potent tools like OpenAI o1 Pro, GPT-4o, and an Advanced Voice Mode for its users.
According to makers of ChatGPT Pro, its unique feature is the o1 Pro mode which is equipped with computing abilities to solve complex and difficult challenges related to science, coding, and mathematics. This version can give more preferable answers, solutions, and reasons compared to earlier versions, according to the developers.
OpenAI will continue to offer the Plus plan at $20 per month approximately (₹1,700), (around £16), as the subscription tier. For the Plus users, it will provide all the existing models and features but will exclude the advanced o1 version.
OpenAI has declared the launch of its o1 model, which will replace its o1 preview that was introduced in September under the code name “Strawberry.” The stable o1 model is available immediately for ChatGPT Plus and Team users, with Enterprise and Edu customers to follow by next week.
