Pi Network has announced an extension to its Grace Period, pushing deadline to January 31, 2025. This decision comes as part of an overall timeline adjustment for the project and is aimed at ensuring greater inclusivity for Pioneers.
The Grace Period, initially enacted on July 1, 2024, and after multiple extensions, was set to conclude on December 31, 2024. With the latest updates, the mainnet is now shifted for next year, and KYC has yet another deadline.
The Pi Network team emphasized the sensitivity and potential consequences associated with the Grace Period deadlines. By extending the timeframe, they aim to provide as many Pioneers as possible with the opportunity to secure their Pi. This extension is directly linked to the broader changes in the Open Network timeline, allowing for a more inclusive transition.
