The prestigious Plan ₿ Forum, a Bitcoin conference organized by Tether and the City of Lugano, is thrilled to announce the addition of Stella Assange and Gabriel Shipton as headline speakers.
Stella Assange, attorney, and wife of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, will join forces with Gabriel Shipton, acclaimed film producer, to shed light on the profound implications of Julian Assange’s prosecution for freedom of speech worldwide.
Renowned for his documentary “Ithaka,” which premiered at the Sydney Film Festival in 2022, Gabriel Shipton intimately explores Julian Assange’s decade-long struggle and its impact on those closest to him.
Joining them is John Noble Shipton, Julian’s father and an advisor to the Assange Campaign, who has fervently advocated for his son’s human rights.
Due to popular demand following their highly anticipated 2022 panel, Stella Assange, Gabriel Shipton, and John Noble Shipton return to address pressing issues at the Plan ₿ Forum, including press freedom and democratic rights.
Scheduled for October 20-21, 2023, the second annual Plan ₿ Forum promises a stellar lineup of speakers who will delve into the transformative power of Bitcoin in reshaping the world socially and economically.
The conference aims to facilitate in-depth discussions on topics such as the disintermediation of finance, accessibility of financial services, unbanked individuals, and regulation.
Notable speakers already announced include industry leaders Adam Back, Paolo Ardoino, Michele Foletti, Filip Karađorđević, Jameson Lopp, Max Keiser, Stacy Herbert, Mathias Buus, Samson Mow, and Farida Nabourema.
